Once again, Pierce shows why trading him would be the worst thing the Celtics could do at this point. A near triple-double, again. He continues to get the dimes in place of his point guard. Please also note: no Rondo, Ray, or Jermaine this game, again. The big three era of the Boston Celtics is still going strong. All the Celtics fans out there know we are the team to beat. Number 18, here we come…

Please note that this game was played in Orlando and Boston was without Rondo, Allen, O’Neal, and Dooling (for the second half). Everybody continues to write off the Boston Celtics and the big three due to their age. Now that Pierce is clearly back to his old self, the Eastern Conference is Boston’s for the taking.
